This is the worst of it. 11/13. Misery

This is the worst of the remaining inflammation. Although the doc called it "minimal", compared to 14 months earlier it's great, and also this is at the very end of the rectum where the worms don't really want to live as a defense mechanism not to get shat out of their host.

Another fabulous colonoscopy. Helminths took me from once severe Ulcerative Colitis to deep drug free remission. Couldn't be happier.

Ulcerative colitis (Colitis ulcerosa, UC) is a form of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) which specifically affects the large intestine, or colon, causing characteristic ulcers, or open sores. The main symptom of active disease is constant diarrhea mixed with blood, of gradual onset.
